Whether it's a story that needs telling or a product that needs selling, no one wants another tasteless, cookie-cutter project. Chris makes films that stand out and strike to the heart of the visual medium.

Chris is currently working in film, television, and commercial production in Los Angeles alongside companies like FX , Lionsgate, Legendary Pictures, Gunpowder & Sky, Partizan, and Stink Films.

A filmmaker at heart, his independent work has notable recognitions from the Burbank International, Dirigo International, Capital City, Milledgeville-Eatonton, and CIFF's CineYouth.

Chris has rich history of working with artists, scientists, politicians, brands, campaigns, and charities to help bring about innovative, new visions for their media.

Voice's Leading Ladies

Four of Voice's Leading Ladies talk about living in affordable housing, the Uptown community past and present, recognizing and learning from the leaders of an earlier generation and passing the torch to the next. Video features Zenaida Cheveres, Carvella Johnson, Lois Ellington and Rita Ezell. Carvella's mother, Edna, known as the "Cake Lady", was considered one of the "founding mothers" of Voice of the People. Lois' mother, Florence Buckner, was a displacement victim, tenant organizer, and a plaintiff in the Avery Lawsuit resulting in affordable housing funding (featured in Helen Shiller's book: Daring to Struggle; Daring to Win). This is a project I made to support their fundraising campaign 'Sweet Home Uptown.' Here, I tried to work remotely with what audio samples I had from tenants, highlighting anecdotes from a diverse Chicago community.

A 2020 film collective co-founded with his work and life partner, Bianca Dovarro, which challenged young artists from around the globe to write, direct, and edit a short film in under a month.

At the year's end, Chris had helped facilitate the production of 12 short films for each month of the 2020 year, encompassing narrative, documentary, live-action, animation, and foreign-language films.
